About
Built by a practitioner. For practitioners.
Montessori Makers Learning is built by Hannah Richardson, 25-year Montessori educator and founder of Montessori Makers Group.
Twenty-five years inside real Montessori classrooms.
Montessori Makers Learning exists because the field needed materials built on accurate research, justice-aligned values, and a real understanding of how Montessori actually works in practice.
Everything here, including the decodable books, the assessment hub, the courses, the maps, and the timelines, was built from what 25 years of classroom observation and school leadership revealed about what practitioners actually need.
The Field Guide has 516 lessons because that is how many it took to cover Primary and Elementary practice without shortcuts. The reading assessment tracks phonics mastery the way Montessori teaches it because the standard tools were built for a different model.
This is practitioner work. Not content marketing.

What this site is.
This site holds the curriculum and materials side of the Montessori Makers ecosystem. Books, assessments, courses, maps, timelines, and classroom tools. Also the Field Guide app for classroom practitioners and the Family Companion app for parents.
For school consulting, leadership development, hiring, and organizational design, visit montessorimakersgroup.org. The two sites share the same Stripe account and the same values. They are separate because the work is different.
Part of a larger system.
